Other (Eclectic) Interests

I firmly believe that food is one of the greatest joys in this world, and I always endeavor to eat as much good food as I possibly can. However, good food is not equivalent to high-quality or expensive food, but food that fills the soul and meets us where we’re at, whenever we need it. Here’s a pic of a bowl of ramen from my favorite ramen place:

I love all things improv comedy – I’m not comfortable enough to actually do any improv (though maybe that’ll change in the future) but my current favorite improv things are the Actors on Actors on Actors on Actors Podcast, the Offbook: The Improvised Musical Podcast, and the streaming service Dropout. I also adore the british show Taskmaster!

I’ve been playing the piano since I was a kid, and picked up the alto saxophone in middle school. I’m horrendously bad at playing jazz music, but I love listening to jazz, along with video game soundtracks, tango and cumbia, and of course classical music. I studied piano under Reiko Uchida while at Columbia!
